Follow ups:

Follow up appointments must be booked within 14 days from your first appointment/consultation.

Only the first follow up appointment is free of charge, after which any further follow up appointments will be charged at £35 and paid in advance. Additional follow up appointments must be booked within 14 days of the last appointment to be eligible for the £35 discount.

If appointments are booked utilizing the weekday special offer, follow-ups cannot be booked on weekends, unless the difference of the weekend charge is paid. Only initial appointments booked in on weekends receive a free follow up appointment on weekends.

Cancellation / Lateness / No show:

A 48-hour cancellation notice before the appointment must be given to be eligible for a refund of the deposit.

If there are mitigating circumstances arising from missing an appointment, these must be put in writing to support@earwax.org.uk and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. A refund will be at the discretion of the management team. Testing positive for Covid-19 will strictly not be considered as a mitigating circumstance and will result in the loss of your deposit, including, in the event of cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment.

In the event that you do not show up for an appointment, your initial deposit will not be refunded or used towards a new appointment. A new booking fee will be required to secure a new appointment.

If you do not show up to a follow-up and a further follow-up is required, it will be charged at the additional follow-up price of £35.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, it is not a guarantee that you will be seen by the practitioner at the clinic on the day. However, if we are fully booked then you may not be seen and your deposit will not be refunded, a new deposit will be required to book a new appointment.

No wax / Consultations:

In the event of no wax found within your consultation, then only a £35 fee is payable for the consultation. This would have already been paid within your deposit, however, will also be payable in the event of a walk-in consultation.

Children’s Policy:

Children between the ages of 6 & 12 years old will be charged at the children’s set fee. Children aged 13 and above will be charged the same fees as adults. We do not see children under the age of 6 years old, however, this is at the discretion of the clinic manager and practitioner.

In the event that a child does not sit still during the procedure, practitioners reserve the right to terminate the appointment if they deem it to be unsafe for the patient.

Abusive & rude behavior:

We reserve the right to cancel appointments without offering a refund if rude, abusive or aggressive is displayed towards any member of staff.

Treatments:

Our practitioners are not obliged to treat you if they deem treatment is not appropriate for any reason.

All new patients will only be treated after receiving an initial consultation which may involve examination or advice. If, after consultation, no treatment is to be offered, only the consultation fee will be payable.

Before receiving any treatment, you will be asked to complete a consent form. If you refuse to sign such a consent form then that treatment will not be performed.

If you have read and decline to accept these terms and conditions, no treatment will be offered.
